Demetria “Dee” Hayden is a licensed Cosmetologist and Cosmetology teacher; a certified Continued Education Sponsor (State of Illinois); and Certified Hair Loss Practitioner with 37+ years of experience in the hair care industry. Demetria Hayden is also the founder and CEO of Altogether Lovely, Inc., a hair management company that provides hair solutions through services, product sales, and education; and the founder of Healthful Hair Solutions®, a hair care product line formulated with key ingredients designed to nurture and promote a healthy scalp and hair─ and “Creating a Healthy Environment for Healthy Hair Growth”.

Even though I am a business owner with many years of experience in my trade, I acknowledge that I don’t know everything. This acknowledgement forces me to maintain a teachable attitude while constantly seeking knowledge and wisdom to operate and improve the business. My personal motto is, “Do and teach what you know, until what you don’t know catches up with you”. As a woman and business owner, my focus has always been on what constitutes the inspiration, spirit and mindset of a great leader. I am unapologetic about my passion for what I do; the 30 years of experience spent learning what I know; and the Godly principles instilled in me since childhood.
Meet Kenya Walker
Kenya learned and gained an appreciation for hair care at the very young age of 3 when she would hang out with her mom at the salon. She easily picked up the technique of braiding and began assisting Demetria as “mommy’s little helper.” By her teenage years, Kenya worked as an assistant at the salon and later began taking her own clients. She went on to become a licensed hair braider under the State of Illinois.

During her college years, Kenya discovered her true passion for Finance and went on to receive a B.S. in Finance from Roosevelt University. She later earned an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business with a concentration in Finance, Economics, and Behavioral Science. This strong educational background prepared Kenya to transition to overseeing the day-to-day operations of Altogether Lovely and its subsidiary Healthful Hair Solutions (HHS).

As of 2021, Kenya became co-owner of HHS parent company, Altogether Lovely. She currently serves as Chief Financial Officer responsible for developing and implementing financial and operational plans for future growth of the business.
